Neuro-Acupuncture

Neuro-Acupuncture is a contemporary acupuncture technique interpreting traditional needling methods with Western medicine neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, neuroscience and neurological rehabilitation.

The structure and functions of the brain anatomy overlays with a specific scalp area. By stimulating those areas under the skin, we stimulate the brain for a particular function.

Neuro-acupuncture stimulates the brain’s ability to work around injured or dormant neurons to reconnect/rewire neural pathways giving the ability to relearn or restore lost function.

Neuro-Acupuncture is frequently used in rehabilitation of stroke and traumatic brain injury. It is used to treat cerebral palsy, migraines, multiple sclerosis, PTSD, complex regional pain syndrome, phantom pain, Bell’s palsy, Parkinson’s, Autism and more.

What Our Patients Are Saying

My mother had a stroke on October of last year that left her paralyzed half of her body, she was unable to take care of herself and she was unable to speak correctly. She was also suffering a lot of body pain and also lost her sense of taste. I brought her in to Judita in April and after her first treatment we noticed a huge difference she was able to speak better and she got her sense of taste back. After two months of treatment she is now able to take care of herself and she has no more pain. WE THANK GOD FOR JUDITA & HER STAFF!!!!

I cannot believe what Judita has done for my husband. He has had no feeling in the right side of his face for 46 years after being wounded in Vietnam. She has been able to get his feeling back and he is so excited. This wonderful lady is TOTALLY AMAZING.

My husband has Parkinson’s. He had a stiff body and no expression on his face. He would have leg cramps at night. In less than a month he now laughs and has sparkle in his eyes. His body is loosening up. He is also sleeping a lot better.

Hi I would like to take the time to tell everyone how wonderful Judith with Total Wellness Acupuncture is. When I started going to see her, I had suffered with migraines and back issues for about 10 years and drs all wanted to give me medicine to help and I did not want to take. It has been about 6 months and I have not had a migraine or back issues. She has stayed late to work with my work schedule because she knew I needed to be seen. I'm am very grateful for all she has done for me.
